Temperate white springtails are well known as an excellent addition of any clean up crew. They love to eat fungus, mold, and mildew, and help to keep enclosures from smelling and getting overrun. Temperate springtails do prefer a less warm environment from their tropical relatives.
8oz cultures are recommended for aquariums 20 gallons and under. 12oz are best for 20-30 gallons, while 32oz are great for 40 gallon and larger.
For live arrival guarantee in temperatures exceeding 95F or below 40F, a heat or cool pack must be added. If temperatures are at or below 32F or at or above 100F, live animal shipments of all kinds will be held until weather permits safe shipment. Live animal shipments only go out Monday-Wednesday.
